Bring your kids up with a sense of beauty, history, heroism, love of life, self-confidence and a sense of what is good in life and literature. If you have a child who loves construction vehicles, as much as mine does, then this book is a winner. This book is a definite keeper. To devote a whole book to a person about whom the facts can be resumed in a few pages is perhaps a gamble as the work has to be filled with other things. It has been nearly impossible for me to find maps showing the back roads in Quebec, ofter referred to as logging or forest roads. Though the context at first glance might seem film studies or cinema history (some of which is available in the volume), the book does the most amazing job of not only asking questions about who Hollywood and our own local filmmakers say we are (see Native American Sunrise Tippeconnie's essay on Norman New Wave for that), but asking even more important questions.
